April 21, 2021 // Book Birthday Giveaway!

I can't believe it's been a whole year since I published my book, The Whispers God Gives, on Amazon! I've loved seeing how God has used this devotional in my life and others' . . . even allowing me to give out copies around my neighborhood as a way to witness for Him. <33

Picture taken from a recent photo shoot w/ my sweet sister, Ruby Jane. =)

It's time to celebrate with another giveaway! After all, what's a book birthday without presents?!

Full credit for this image goes to Sawyer Marie.

There'll be two winners in this giveaway, each receiving a signed copy of The Whispers God Gives. Enter simply by dropping a favorite Bible verse in the comments below; one verse = one entry, and you can earn up to a maximum of three (3) entries total. Please note that international friends are welcome to participate in this giveaway, although if they win they'll get the PDF version instead of paperback. Winners announced this Saturday, Lord willing. Have fun!

Blessings,
Ellen S.

    1. Habakkuk 3:17-19 -Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places.

    2. Isaiah 43:1-2 - But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

    3. Colossians 3:23 - Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,

  9. That's so neat, Ellen : ) Congrats, my friend!

    1. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - "Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are fading away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

    2. 1 Corinthians 1:18 - "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."

    3. Galatians 2:20 & 6:14 - "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me... [therefore] may I never boast save in the cross of Jesus Christ my Lord, through which the world has been crucified to me and I to the world."
